Awesome Tip: Advice to Anyone Struggling With Expectations of Themselves | Meeting with a VaynerMedia Employee
Waiting until you’re 25 to assess your life and try to figure yourself out is never a bad strategy. In some cases, many of you may have seen my “close your eyes until you’re 29” rant, which essentially has the same underlying topic as this video.
Thank you for watching this video. I hope that you keep up with the daily videos I post on the channel, subscribe, and share your learnings with those that need to hear it. Your comments are my oxygen, so please take a second and say ‘Hey’ ;).

He's 300 steps ahead of her. Crazy.
Elle manque juste de confiance en elle . C'est tout
Damn this hit deep
Would be amazing to have a feedback from her right now!! @garyveeeeeeeeeeeeee
Thanks for the moral boost, man. I'm 29 and feel like I'm too old for anything.
Gary Vee true legend
This video is perfect for me, felt tailor made. So Gary I need to know the digits of two different things, A.) That girls number because she's awesome. And B.) How much do I have to pay to sit down with you for not even an hour
She talks too much she shd jst listen
He may have felt differently, but his body language is telling me he would rather be doing something else.
What if we forget our ages
thank you.
I’m 24 . I really need this. Thank you soo much @garyvee ! You’re a gift to the world. ☝️♥️
I needed this right now Gary thank you brother. I am 23 and I am always in my head thinking about the future etc. And that mindset makes alot of sense thank you so much
I'll be soon turning 21 and this is exactly what I feel. I constantly put pressure on myself to achieve the success I wish for. And tbh my work ethics is kinda low than what I expect which is give rise to self doubt.
This was really helpful but I really can't get rid of me constantly putting pressure on myself.
I am 25 so am I late to watch this now?
I agree with him, but he's saying very recycled, surface level shit. In my opinion.
This is important! Being in school really does create a mentality that doesn’t transition into the workforce. Great advice from Gary! Thanks!
Hey
I needed this
This girl is literally me. Finding success and wanting to just push myself so much in such little time and giving myself such huge, unrealistic expectations. Patience would do me so well, because I had so much structure and now having to do things on my own in real life, the only pressure I’m feeling is from myself. And I’m 22.
somebody shut this cheezy fool up. gary was only cool for a week.
Im 22 , i live pay check to pay check. What is the best thing to do . To become a better version of myself?
Thank you!
Fight step of failure is getting interviewed for a job by someone who thinks he/she is successful…
Wow this is new advice! I haven’t heard anyone recommend this before I’m going to try this out!
OMG !!! THIS MAKE ME FEEL SO MUCH BETTER! thanks
@garyvee what advice for a 27 year old who is constantly thinking that he won't judge himself and try out new things to see what is he good at.. but from 21 to 27, every year is the same. Reaching nowhere. What advice would you give for a 27 year old?
I needed this, all 20 years old right now, really need this video.
Such an Eye opener
I'm 34 I needed to hear this today
awww Gary was so sweet 🙂
A couple of years makes a big difference
This popped up on my feed in perfect timing holy crap
I just didn’t want her to mess up idk why it doesn’t effect me
Just watching this interview gave me anxiety lol
My sister told me when I was in my early 20s that you won't really settle, get comfortable, find yourself and catch your breath in life until you hit 30 she was absolutely right. Once you leave school, you still haven't graduated from self or earned anything in the real world. School is not reality. Expectations are not reality. Grades aren't either. You'll know it when you get there but don't expect to know it in that moment. You'll have to pass by it and then it'll hit you like, yea I'm ok now
Wonderful to hear Gary V without him yelling and cussing! His wisdom is easier to see.
Jesus this girl doesn’t even listen… it’s just “yeah” “I know” and then tries to add her own sentence to the end of his rather than letting it sink in. Almost couldn’t finish the video
I don’t understand everybody blame education system but nobody knows what to do. You don’t know anything about yourself that’s the problem. If you know what do and want from life, school is just playground and a place to meet new people. I don’t know who told everybody if you finish school you will have great life. Yes, you got A from school but I don’t think you will get A from life. Also, I don’t agree with Garry. Nobody has time to waste, and if you are young please use these times to experience many things and don’t wait until 25 to figure out somethings. And last thing is if you are living USA,Canada,Germany,France(basically developed countries) you have no right to complain about life. You did not experience Syria,İran,Afganistan,Pakistan etc. American people basically living in a bubble and think life is very hard.
That’s exactly what I need to hear this morning !
