  1. I am surprised when she said the most expensive slimes have been $17 & $50. I thought some big slime influencer could charge a $500 slime and some fans would buy it.

  2. It's interesting to hear the perspective of a teenage influencer from the Northeast. She mentioned Instagram and Snapchat as the most popular platforms. In LA, where my daughter is from, also in 8th grade, it's Instagram and YouTube. Very Interesting.

  3. GaryVeee, Is traditionally Advertising dead? What I mean by that is promotional items like shirts, pens, etc. I want to utilize those items and social media to change the face of fundraising.

  4. I came here because my niece have mentioned me slimed. Not sure what it was. I asked her what she wanted for her 10th birthday(a week ago) and she again told me about slime.

  5. I'm 30 and listen to everything Gary puts out. This is interesting because when I was her age, I was playing with Nickelodeon Gak, which was HUGE. I remember getting it stuck in my grandmother rain gutters (don't ask me how). I think this girl has great potential to be an influencer and set up a business organizing conventions for herself and/or other companies.

  6. What I love about this is that it’s the perfect example of what the internet is capable when trends are leveraged against its power.

And I’m not just talking about “trends” in the sense that it’s gonna go away. I’m 25 and kids were making slime 15 years ago when I was was in school, I remember a school project one year was making slime. So it’s not a trend in the sense that it’s going away but in the sense that it’s for a season of a person’s life.

But what the internet has allowed is people to document and create on that season of life so that when the next generation comes along who’s going to get into slime, they’re not starting from square one. They’re going to have something to build off of.

    It’s amazing

  8. I like how Gary asked her some questions to help her scale as well as question if she can do more with her slim business. She is for sure doing great and growing at a tremendous rate, but Gary has each guest looking at the duration of your craft and well in to the next craft if you are interest. This is a great show and interview.
