  1. Yep, I reply to every YouTube comment, but not because I think Iā€™m going to get some huge ROI. I just like to do it. I honestly get excited anyone even wants to watch one of my videos, let alone take the time to comment on it.

  2. Hey Gary, I've been listening to the podcast from Episode 1 for the past 6-8 months (didn't want to miss anything) and this is the first episode I've actually WATCHED. Also the first comment I've posted – lurker alert. You're so much more active in terms of moving around than I expected and smile a lot more too haha. Also India and AJ look completely different to what my brain imagine, crazy haha. Anyway, love the show, thanks for all the awesome advice so far! šŸ˜€
I'm heading to New York next Wednesday too. Might bump into you!

  3. Question of the Day:

When you have responded to me on Instagram, I was honestly shocked that it was you on the other end. I know it was you, but it was just a lil star struck moment.

  4. Hello Garyyyyyy! šŸ˜€
Great episode brother! Really enjoyed it! Thanks for sharing the thoughts!
Personally can say that i've learned some interesting things since started following the shoooooooooooooooooooooow and really appreciate your efforts!
    Big up in 2016!
    Cheers,
    D.

  5. QOTD: Recently Gary has been responding to me on Twitter and Facebook, and it feels good that he's taking the time out of his day to do that. Every once in a while he posts something like "Whether you've been listening to me for 7 years or 7 minutes, thanks for your attention" … To that I say Gary, thanks for YOUR attention when you take the time to read and respond to my tweet.

  6. Having the Toyota logo repeated three times behind you Gary definetly feeled weird, and was totally disctracting. Kept thinking you were trying to sell vehicules while you clearly were not. Impossible to keep the virtual eye contact through the video which is generally a strength of yours. Apart from that a good show, with valuable content like always, just less energy than usual. But hey, You're already giving so much. one can't be perfect and give all the time. Cheers Gary šŸ™‚

  7. here's where this hurts. (and I think you want authentic answers so here goes) …..

in recent years, is it that you've just got too busy to answer everyone? Hey, I'm a relative newcomer to the fans (last year or so) so I get your commitment to long termers of course is understandable.

I think it does the opposite, when you have a reputation and character of someone who hustles like mad, answers frigging everyone humanly possible, wherever possible. And in all your books, you ask us to email gary@vayner etc.

So I get you might kind of see Glenn Twiddle, think to yourself, 'ah that's the guy who's hiring me in Australia to speak, so I'll chat to him then' or something.

(and I completely completely understand that by the way. Supply and demand on your time must be IN-SANE !!!

With ANY other celebrity I would never even assume or presume to write this but I believe it is the character you've created with us, your audience, we feel like we know you, so the reverse of your Q of the day is also true. Of course personal response is frigging awesome, and the lack of same, is also equally not so good, coz we feel (probably unjustifiably) that 'hey GV, you answer every bugger but not me)

Not sure dude, and I promise you, I feel like crap even writing this, but there it is, hope this doesn't mean you'll punch me in the face when I see you, haha.

  8. Love your hustle man and I am definitely a fan of Daily Vee! I think that it is so vital to engage with your fan base it definitely made me like you much more (not that I needed it to but still). K eep the fire man you are a inspiration!!

  9. #QOTD: Yes, engagement is important regardless of platform. I've been trying hard to get this stubborn celebrity mind — Actor Laz Alonso (@lazofficial) to understand that but he loves ignoring more than actively responding. He takes the extremely selective "give a dog a bone…" approach as oppose to generating free flow of communication. Rigid it is. Anyway, he's on Snapchat but like you mentioned, he does the unwise thing. Does not engage in chatting. He even thinks screenshots in snapchat are "against Snapchat etiquette." It would be cool if he met with you. He's currently shooting an NBC show in NYC. Hopefully, I'm one day as great as you are in social media influencing.

  10. Bro, your suchhhhh a real dude and I appreciate at that and totalllyyyy agreeeeee aboutttt authenticity. Also, thanks for honing your craft and execute your talent of Grade A/ Five Star communication skills, teaching, and message deliverrrrrrryyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  11. I had a mind shift to the next level when you mentioned that you wrote Crush It to teach people how to make millions and only charged $13 for it. That's cheap money for a lifetime of success to be learned from someone who cares and really wants to see people win. One of my favorite authors Mike Murdock always says that buying a book is and investment in which you get to learn the wisdom of someone else's life without having to make all the mistakes they madeeeeee. Thanks for writing booksssssss and not chargingggggggggggggggg $50K/mo. for people to join your master mind…..

  12. Love your hip hop intro music and video clips and cuts. I would love to see you post youuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrr entire conversation on video chat with Daymond John and other big, interesting, and successful personalities like him. Thanks for showing the world that the sport of business is a life long pursuit which is why you see most of the heavy weights are near 60 or well into there 60's really just starting to hit full stride. Also, thanks for showing the world that entrepreneurship caaaaaaaannnnnn be funnnnnnn and not all stufffffffffyyyyyyy and anal retentive tight like you see in most media and especially in movies. Your offficcccceeeee culture is aweeeeesssssoooommmmeeee!!!!!!!!!!!! You really love your worker beeeeessssss and that's number one and that's amaaaaaaaaazzzzzzzzzzzzzziiiiiiiiinnnngggggg…….

  13. I like how you are exploring IFTTT, I create Productivity app/tool reviews and haven't gotten around to reviewing it. I think this is one of my favourite episodes because you go in detail on the resources you are using – which is always nice. Thanks Gary!

  14. #QOTD: Hey Gary! this episode was def weird but great value nevertheless. I've been keeping up with your snaps pretty much since you decided to go ham on them from your vacation in Florida and I've seen how much you hustle and it has really inspired me to work much harder man so big ups for the consistent grind! I feel that you are the master at your craft and its wicked to be able to keep up with you through Snapchat, DailyVee and the #AskGaryVee show.

  15. I do wanna jump in and ask what you/your team keeps referring to when saying they can't make things clickable anymore. While YouTube changes roll out to everyone at different times, I can still add Annotations with which I can link to my own videos just fine. A spotlight annotation overtop the video preview tends to look best.
And YouTube cards work at the same time, which I'm not seeing get used here.

  16. Was excited to see Mr. Shark Tank on your show until it was a mutual BJ-fest between you two. He doesn't need you to succeed and you don't need him, thus this segment was very unnecessary and disproportionate to your normal extreme value prop…

  17. Why aren't you supporting startups and other smaller companies instead of the mega-corporate-conglomerates you have displayed in green behind you the whole show?!?
I've been following you and thus know you love the Jets (so, NP there), but why not use your wisdom and viewership to help support all the small co's you believe/invest in instead?!?
