  1. It would be awesome if he dedicated shows to reviewing amateur website/store/products kind of like shark tank…just evaluate it and get a grade or something…even if it was really quick like 3 minutes of what stands out and obvious adjustments

  2. Been on a binge of you brother. Not because im looking for answers or motivation but simply because im sick of consuming negative shit thats put on my news
Feed. I like that youre always thanking your parents but i believe its all you bro. Everyone has a choice to do something whether its in their dna or not and you took that chance. Kudos VX!!!

  3. Made it to Ep3! Biggest take away for me is "Ear to the Market Place". In 5 years it could be a whole new table. Making adjustments along the way based on how the market is responding is key. Gary just said 2 weeks (Aug 2016) ago that he is successful because he can anticipate human behavior. He has seen social platforms come and go, and he knows which ones are hot. Keeping an ear to the market is key for planning your next business move.

  4. Hi, Gary . I've been watching you from about ep 70, and I returned to the beginning to watch. Something confused me in this episode. At about 2:00 you answer a question about planning and say that you aren't a planner. I had understood, as you say it so often, that you play the long game. How do you play the long game without planning? Not a criticism, just wanted a better understanding so I could work 'long term' also

  5. Word is bond has always been the most important thing to me! I'm building my name as my word, not just taking a chance and rolling dice…I want people to know they can trust my name when they hear it!

  6. 3 episodes in and you are already changing things up, well played my man!

Dad taught you right, more people should hear that message, unfortunately. I ask too often, what happened to integrity.

Product matters more than sales these days, too important because of access to info. Focusing on marketing before the product is done is stupidity. Thanks for calling that out!

  7. marketing on social media has been so rudimentary and heavy-handed in the past. I think that what we're all starting to see is the people (including myself) that grew up on the Internet and social media are beginning to call the shots in marketing and media production. the content is beginning to feel more native, because the people creating it have been native to it for years. I've been on facebook since late 2004, back when I was in high school, and remember the days where there was no advertising whatsoever on facebook. the first advertisers that came along tried to hardwire and rig their content, but it was always tooled for some other medium (e.g. print or television). it only seems recent that I've seen content "grow out" of social networking mediums organically and boy is it refreshing!

  9. I absolutely love the part about how Hustle is the play when cash is itsy bitsy.  Many times I find myself trying to be too damn fancy and losing sight of just grinding out some flyers or cold calling some peeps.  Boom to ya Gary!

  10. Gary has helped me turn around a business that I sold for a great profit. There was(and still is) a bridge closure. I added dinners, grab n go's and most importantly I worked 3 more hours a day. My customers missed me and I missed them. No amount of working ON your business can replace your being AT your business. Best advice I ever took. Now to re invent myself.

  11. "New" to the Gary V following since a friend recommended "Jab, Jab…." then realized I already own "Crush It."  Great content – as a small business owner sometimes its good to hear the reminder that "work more" really is the answer! Keep it coming!
