  1. Pizza, it kinda depends… I like Solé in Antwerp, and they compete internationally in the world pizza tournament… Yes it is a thing! In napoli I believe.. (could be wrong) But then sometimes, smth odd happens, like that awesome banana Roquefort pizza I had off the coast in the Netherlands. Then there is pizza pizaiollo, when you ask the chef to put the slices of salmon on the pizza after he backed it. It won't be dry that way, and since it's thin it won't be uncoocked either. It's just salmon done just right. Every time again it's the effort that makes the difference and so I would say, where? At home! the dough is not hard and with some practice it becomes a thing of beauty you can share with friends and family!!

  2. the best pizza in the WORLD is Pizza Pilgrims in London. 2 brothers, started out in a little pizza van, traveled around Italy, came back with the best pizza. Started a company on credit cards and hard work – now they own 6 restaurants in London. SUPER delicious. My favouriet pizza topping used to be pepperoni, but I don't eat pork anymore, so now it's probably spicy chicken and pequino peppers.

  3. Since Gary is always talking about going deep with his audience, I thought that that would make a good comparison to his networking… To summarize, when he goes somewhere that he's well-known he likes to go deep, but when he's not so well-known he likes to go wide.

QOTD: Can sauce be a topping? A local place that I love makes delicious BBQ chicken pizza and they use a house BBQ sauce. The chicken is nice, but it's the sauce that really makes it.

  4. My favorite topping is just plain ole cheese. The best pizza in the world is Koronet's Pizza (Broadway and W111th st in Manhattan). They make the BIGGEST slices ever while maintaining that gooey, crispy NY pizza awesomeness. For my entire college career I had no idea what it was called since I only went there during drunken escapades. Went to Pace so it was not just around the corner from me. It was known to my friends and I as "Big Ass Pizza"!!!

  5. Gary, great show! The best pizza topping is a combo of fresh basil, olive oil,  fresh cheese and freshly crushed ripe tomatoes  (for the sauce). The best pizza in the world is in Napoli: Da Attilio, Via Pignasecca, 17, 80134 Napoli, Italy.  70+ year business and 3rd generation, no english menus, 'nuff said.

  6. I'm from Sydney, Australia but the best pizza in the world, hands down, in Sal's Pizzeria in Mamaroneck! Get you ass on the train from Grand Central up north to Mamaroneck (it'll take you about 35mins) and go get some of the BEST PIZZA YOU'LL EVER HAVE! The pasta is amazing too AND the gelato. I cannot wait to get back to NY and you better believe I'll be heading up there for some pizza. 🙂
By the way… LOVE LOVE LOVE the show.
