  1. So true!! If someone hurts you it is because they are hurting.. and that does NOT mean it's ok and you should be fine with it, BUT understanding what's BEHIND mean actions helps us to distance ourselves from the words and look behind the facade of the "evil wall" that person built and see the true cause of their actions… after you see that you won't be affected by whatever they say or do to you… you will simply feel sorry for them..

  2. We all project our inner world onto others. The more pained an conflicted that inner world; the more it comes out in our words and deeds. A good antidote is to, in addition to therapy and self reflection, volunteer at a homeless shelter, or soup kitchen and experience some gratitude for how good you have it. It's hard to be grateful and nasty at the same time.

  3. Very sad but so true, it takes train wrecks to wake most human beings from their delusions…we're so hardwired to believe we're intelligent when we're phenomenally ignorant of our actions less we learn and work diligently everyday to do better with the time we have left on this earth.

  4. Left NJ 3 day's after graduating high school. Moved to Los Angeles and now Miami. 1st day visiting NJ 3 years later today and still witnessing people bitch about the weather and weight problems. Had to pull out the Gary V card. "Work, that's how you get it. "
