Awesome Tip: Close Your Eyes Till You're 29: A Gary Vaynerchuk Original

I see so many young people that are either just out of high school, in college, or just out of college that are spending so much time and energy evaluating their lives and seeing where they stand in comparison to the people around them; stop judging yourselves! Close your eyes until you’re 29 and stop dwelling on the past. Be patient and be self-aware, but don’t stress if you haven’t “made it” while you’re still in your 20s… You have so much time.

  1. I'm 22. I used to work very hard, but not very smart. Generally because I am used to dive in head first really fast and just intend on achieving excellence at a particular skill, without much regard for the results of the investment, just for the process. I didn't focus on the results, just the process. Not the ranks, the numbers, just the process. I did better when it came to a lot of skills than most, but not the resultant outcome. However, now, this year, I've learnt to work smarter and harder. I'm getting better results, and the outcome is better, I believe, along with the process. I hope all the effort I put in without a particular direction, in a not so effective towards results manner, doesn't go to waste! I using the 80/20 principle, the Eisenhower tower and effective habits to employ this, to work smarter, and insanely hard. I hope I get to see better results, and outcomes! Thank you Gary V!

  2. Gary is the best. He's the positive outside voice in my head when I feel absolutely defeated which is often. And he creates endless content to continue being that positive voice

  3. LMFAO what guy is saying is if you feel lost. That is literally normal. Its like saying why am I not rich yet if I dream about it everday. Like no fam. You just keep pressing. And keep pushing. It's what it is. A process.

  9. I’m 15 years old, couldn’t worry less about my career, I know what I want, And I’m gonna fucking take it. But for now I could give a shit or 2 less about the future, I can do whatever I want now with no bills and no job.

  10. I just turned 25 and I’ve really been feeling depressed that things haven’t went the way I want. My job sucks and I’m not where I want to be but I still have plenty of time and I’m glad I’ve been reminded of that. No reason to slack the next 4 years but it’s good to feel like I still can make it happen
