  1. Gary, you’re the best teacher I’ve ever had, man. I’m on my way to New York to sleep on couches because of you haha. I’ve already done it once in California, and now I wanna show people how easy it is to move to the biggest city in America and fucking live the life you want.
You either obsess on your life, or you obsess on the lack of your life. The choice between the two could not be more important.

  2. I don't think you'll read this but what you said around minute 37 about people being handed things and that no matter what they do nobody else would recognize it that's exactly how I feel right now. I don't really have adversity in my life. My dad passed and I received a good amount of money and all this time I just haven't felt worthy of it. I spent it traveling and investing in my photography and creativity but I still don't feel it is my accomplishment at all. (all the things I did with it) There have been many days where I wish I would not have been brought up in a soft environment, that I had real struggles but now I feel in a limbo where I cannot reach for that of what I want because the pain isn't great enough, as well as the comfort I have feels like i'll never touch rock bottom to just blaze through this limbo. Anyway, can't complain because I have lived a life many wish to have lived. Thank you Gary.

  3. Thank you for "just getting it" Gary. The fact that you can speak so candidly and sincerely to young African American men, warms my heart. Thank you for caring and taking the time to speak to these young brothers. It's appreciated.

  4. Man! I really love these kinds of videos. I see why you extended this meeting multiple times. a lot of value came out. You've helped me understand the value that I have in business as a black 24 year old male from Detroit. I use to feel so insecure going to L.A and felt like a peasant around the engineers and guys who made a lot of money. Now i've realized that my work ethic and talent can take me far. I've seen my influence grow a lot and i've been traveling living my dream. I've learned how to be patient.

  5. About the kid asking about wanting to work for free Id say a lot of people think people want to take advantage of them or don’t trust someone but at the same time the person willing to work for free show the most passion because they genuinely care or want to help someone grow
