Hey garyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
why are they not talking about getting live sports on twitch, like fully integrated.
why has twitch not created its own steaming software? or better yet a hardware streaming solution? seems like they could do a lot.
i used to run a company as a product manager who was in competition with twitch rivals. this is funny to watch mike talk about this stuff. from my point of view, twitch is over saturated if you are trying to become a influencer as a gamer, but im sure there is space for other types of community building.
Hi
It's funny having bought into the Sony brand & learning why they saw so much success over the last 4-6 years. I understand now that twitch.. is the place to interact & grow with ones community for a unique experience.
Would love to see you and your team play a few rounds of Among Us Gary. I think you'd all have a blast and it would give viewers a different look into your mind.
We are a music festival that started going live on Twitch at the beginning of the pandemic. We <3 our community!
I think as Twitch gets larger and streamers get a larger following, it becomes harder to get that interaction, because of the sheer amount of people in chat trying to have their say but getting drowned out by everyone else. Some chats end up being just emoji spams. It does feel like you're being among a large crowd, like a concert, and some people really enjoy that energy, but for those looking to actually have a conversation, it only becomes increasingly difficult. The fact that for the majority of streams, viewers can only for the most part type in chat, and not doing much else interactive (besides donating/subscribing and having their names pop up on screen), is also a downside; but that's not to say there isn't a push for a lot of streams to innovate and find better ways to provide better engagement for their fans.
I’m all about Blanca, @garyvee
I had been streaming to twitch in 2013 but never had a reliable internet connection or setup to keep the stream up consistently, I have had a rough few years, I strayed away from gaming to look for acceptance in other areas, only now since covid, since February I have gotten back into gaming so I'm tripling down on what I do best and invested in building a new PC (check my channel), started streaming 2 months ago, this past month has been a blast to say the least, I start a new job tomorrow to fit around my schedule, no more 10-12 hour shifts, time to work on my side hustle. Huks is officially online and here to stay, more content to be dropping on my YouTube and you will always catch me streaming on twitch @xHuksx 10-12pm melbourne Aus time, work commencing at 6am! LESH GOOOO!!!!
