Business Tips: How VaynerMedia is Using Kind Candor To Put Employees First
Awesome Tip: How VaynerMedia is Using Kind Candor To Put Employees First
Work environments and company culture are extremely important to a business as the overall morale of the employees, managers, and executives play a huge factor in how successful that business can be. The problem that many businesses face is that they do not have effective ways of instilling a work culture where employees feel safe, free to speak their minds, and do not live in fear of losing their jobs. In this episode of the “GaryVee Audio Experience”, Gary is joined by the Co-Founder of Handel Group, Beth Weissenberger to discuss what a healthy work environment looks like, how to avoid bad experiences at work, the language of accountability, and more! Gary thank you for being a quality human being. Talking with your employees is the right thing to do you can keep good employees and good bosses by candor. Learned that lesson over time to just bring stuff up whether it's a raise or time off.

Thanks Gary and Beth!
This really helped me out, I’m having a tough time with my manager right now. I keep telling myself he’s unqualified, but after watching this video I’m going to do some more self reflection and evaluate what I can do differently.
regarding 18:50 – Language of Accountabillity:
would you then say, that context is unimportant for this matter? I often encountered problems and failed timelines but OWNING it and giving context simply additional to that helped tremendously. not only can the other side/part expect and reschedule things, but both can learn and work on the symptoms or root-cause so that it won't happen again or not that severe.
This was so much valuable.
That was super inspiring!
It's amazing how much you can learn with a simple 30 min "coffee talk" – thank you for sharing GVee!!

All of you silly managers and bosses out there watching this thinking you just gotta be nice. It's about the Benjamin's. Pay up. I don't need your understanding. Stop having that quarterly employee meeting where you brag about higher production and how you lowered wages as a percentage of sales. We're don't share you're values. Employees should always get their share.
Solid conversation…LOVED IT! I was like Gary…always uncomfortable on having the hard discussions with my bosses. I've come a long way since those day! <3

So glad you joined the liberal sheep and voted for Biden in 2020 Gary. Re-entry of the Paris Agreement and an America Last approach is working out great for businesses.
Please make more videos about how you love high taxes, more regulations, focus on subjects that don’t matter to hard working Americans, increased shut downs, and how you love the liberal cancel culture.
Speaking up to upper management can lead to your supervisor turning on you. That’s why people don’t want to speak up. It’s easier to stay below the radar and leave quietly. Most supervisors that I have encountered don’t care what you think, even if they’re wrong. You can always try to enlist help from higher up managers, but if they stick together with your boss, it’s best to leave.
Gary, we need to have some open candor about those earbuds.
