  1. @GaryVee I like him , but I'm not sure this is the best advice. I don't know what happened when the cameras were off but the advise he gave during the meeting about vlogs and reality shows was only one half of the coin. I feel like that was the primary advise he gave. All these marketing tactics are necessary but they increase your Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC). The other half of the coin, which many people assume happens naturally or because their product is amazing, is increasing your Customer Lifetime Value (CLV). Your ability to optimise the CAC:CLV ratio will determine your success. So what do you need to optimise CLV? Data. Data is the new dollar. It is the single greatest strategic asset for any business (Amazon, Google, Facebook etc.). What's the best way to get data? You build a platform business. How do you do that? You aggregate the supply and demand for luxury underwear providers on a single platform. Stick your brand on there but also have others. Once you control this mechanism you win. Use the marketing stuff to bring people to that platform. Think big.

  2. Hey Gary, thanks for your great advices on marketing. I am worried about fake influencers buying fake followers on instagram and then pretend to be "infuencers" on instagram. So, whenever we giveaway our stuff to the influencer, we need to make sure they are really influencers. (by scanning through their follower list or seeing their account interaction.) This was from my social marketing experience!

  3. Stupid privileged lady doesn't know shit about her own business. Gary should've kicked her out of his office. She's a fancy wannabe entrepreneur, who doesn't know what it takes to build a business. Just a dumb housewife bored with her husband's money.

  6. This is a specific question but I mind as well ask bc you vayniacs are crazy lol jk. Anyways, why did gary advise her to target her vlog episode #1 ad on FB against the employees of her competitors? What good is that? I thought the goal was to get the vlog to all consumers and potential future clients? Any input is much obliged
