  1. This is so home for me Gary I was literally sitting here crying about how I didn’t believe in myself and my music career because of comparison and judging myself As a young man you know it’s hard to actually love the process of anything so this was very enlightening

  2. Glad I saw this video. What struck me is how we let other people's perceptions of us become our own perceptions of us. I can't do that to myself anymore. None of us deserve that. We each have the responsibility to love ourselves and do what makes us happy. And when someone puts us down, whether for a legitimate or stupid reason, it's our responsibility to let it slide. Don't internalize it. Speak up! Easier said than done. Just have to keep emphasizing this point.. over and over and over again.

  3. It's hurts how much I have to hype myself, just to get out of bed, with the weight of my past and failures/faults. I only hear the negative , even in my mémoires, it seems only pain lingers. I've tried so many therapies but my consistencies are always destroyed by another failure, do I just get back up on The horse, the voice in my head and those around me tell me I shouldn't bother or it won't amount. How do I let go of the feeling of judgement or the past indifferences.

  4. I LOVE this! I was beating myself up for making a mistake that affected other people (It's nothing BIG). I regretted it and I made sure it never happens again, but I don't want 1 minute to ruin my whole day. Everybody makes mistakes! It clicked for me when Gary said: "You don't like it? It didn't go well today? Fuck you! I say fuck you to all, because I say fuck you to myself!"

  5. I really like LEARN TO SAY FUCK YOU to the word everyonce in a while. you have every right too…. and part 2 of this is to say it to yourself! wow what good fucking words those were 😀 Im gona try really hard to embody them this whole fukn munth

  6. What struck me…stop judging yourself. I've been calling myself failure, stupid, and a plethora of other thingsbbc I'm resigning from a job that I'm not excited about and has caused depression and anxiety attacks. I'm learning more and more to find what make me happy. Just gotta stop judging myself.

  7. Hey Gary, Andrew G gave me this clip from LinkedIn and I'm super fucking grateful right now for this. I've been judging myself hard on how I detest my weaknesses, which makes my weaknesses perpetuate. It's a weird thing that goes on in my head. I've been judging others' weaknesses as well and I've been self evaluating a lot lately to get past this because it's all been making me feel apathetic instead of empathetic.

Our lesson here, quit fucking judging ourselves and others. I'm working on this as of right now.

Thanks Gary and thanks Andrew G!

  8. 6 months ago I was betrayed. My whole world and life changed. I moved to.a different state, and may now be moving cross country. I never in a million years thought I'd get into IT as a career. I "hated technology".

nah, i hated the bullshit marketing and the lack of knowing "why" and "how"…

guess what the PROCESS of being a professional IT guy is?

learning the WHY and the HOW.

and Im obsessed with the challenge.

thank you for reminding me, the JOURNEY and the PROCESS is the reward. And we all fake it til we make it.

  9. I felt the best thing in this video was the realizing that all of his self doubt was actually permeating from his past feeling of others toward himself. Well that is what I realized about myself anyways. That is awesome.
