Here’s Great Tip: On the Road to Becoming an Entrepreneur: Jeremy Laurin at TEDxYorkU 2012

Here is Something You Should See…

Jeremy Laurin, President and CEO of ventureLAB, delivers a talk at TEDxYorkU 2012 on the theme of the personal journey he has taken to be an entrepreneur and lessons learned.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

  1. Didn't think this talk had much substance… nothing that hasn't already been said before. Listening to entrepreneurs talk can be tiring. They all sound the same. In today's world everybody is a CEO, president, innovator, etc… *insert big name title here*

How many go about quietly impacting all around but are always overlooked? We often see impact/influence identified mistakenly as wherever the press is shining the spotlight. Success by the world's standards isn't always success.
