In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

What is your business as we speak and are you taking advantage of some new and emergent properties in Nigeria Fintech, IBM Bank, to mention? Do you write and how do we gee your stuff? I mean you can't get old on me without proving your intellectual landscape among the African and African-American business elite.

  6. My point is there are people who will abuse the system; be it in the business (Madoff) world, or in politics (Bush). That is why regulation is essential.

    Madoff was not government.

  7. small businesses should get rejected at high rates. its bc lending to them is far more risky.

this isnt inefficient, this is common sense. i think TED is becoming a place where intellectuals can just spout nonsense.

please define your terms. i define efficiency as profit. high profits means producing lots of value for low costs. remove state regulations and you will see more efficiency.

problem solved. can i get a TED talk now?

  8. Excellent talk. I'm in the beginning of a business school course-marketing is the focus. I see market inefficiency everywhere especially in government agencies including the justice system. Excellent point about transparency with bank financing. My husband's business is a successful, ongoing 35 years business and somehow he doesn't fall into the 'right' market for a small business loan. LOVE Fundwell blog ~ great service to us entrepreneurs, thank you! LOVE your name, 'Chinwe' . . .
